Management Team

MARK FRIE (Email)
Chief Executive Officer

A Certified Performing Arts Executive with broad experience in performance, directing and theatrical management, Mark joined the team in 2017. Previously, he served as the executive director of the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center and the Kristin Chenoweth Theatre. He has also worked with the Radio City Music Hall, North Shore Music Theatre (Boston), Music Theatre Wichita, Dallas Theatre Center, Casa Manana Theatre in Ft. Worth, The Majestic, Bass Hall, Fair Park Music Hall and the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.

Mark's performance experience spans the nation and includes musicals, operas and concerts. He made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in 2006 and has enjoyed performing with symphonies across the country. He is also incredibly proud of the partnership he created with Kristin Chenoweth. Together, through the Kristin Chenoweth Arts and Education Fund, along with a host of volunteers and staff, they impact students on a global level by giving kids opportunities to hone their crafts, find their passions, and reach for their dreams. The TPAC has been an important place to Mark throughout his life and helping to lead the organization to a better future is a dream come true for him.



TERRI McGILBRA (Email)
Director of Programming

Terri graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in music and theatre and has been with the TPAC since 1993. She began her career as a ticket office cashier and worked her way up to Ticket Office Manager, receiving city and national awards for her incredible leadership. In her current position, Terri works with TPAC’s community partners and new rental clients to plan and coordinate all their event needs from start to finish. She also programs the TPAC Trust Imagination/Young at Art Series and Brown Bag It Series.

Growing up in the world of performing arts, Terri loves being behind the scenes, helping to make art happen. She is also a firm believer in performance, that nothing can replace the shared moment between artists and audience, and loves being part of a team that makes that magic happen.


Amanda Nichols (Email)

Director of Public Relations

With a degree in history, Amanda never saw herself in the world of marketing and public relations, but upon moving to Tulsa, she took a job as an administrative assistant at a local marketing agency and was eventually put in charge of the client services and digital departments. She discovered a love for communication she did not know existed and has not looked back since.

Amanda also ended up in the arts by accident, but it quickly became clear it would be a life-long passion. Part of her interest in the arts stems from feeling like part of a community and something bigger than herself, and she’s proud of helping as many in her community find that feeling as possible.

JEN ALDEN (Email)
Chief Financial Officer

Jen became TPAC CFO in 2019. Her professional and artistic background is incredibly diverse; she studied ballet at State Ballet of Oregon, University of Oregon, Eugene Ballet and the Danskervelt School of Dance in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since graduating with an accounting degree from the University of Oregon, Jen worked as a senior at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Portland and received the Chairman’s award. After relocating to Tulsa, she worked for Williams Company as a financial reporting senior before accepting a position with ETX Energy, where she served as the controller. Jen has choreographed for Oklahoma Movement, Theatre Tulsa, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony and TPAC’s Orbit program. She served on the board as treasurer for the Living Arts of Tulsa and was the chair of the Arts and Entertainment Crew of Tulsa Young Professionals (TYPROs). Jen has received awards for 40 under 40 for both Tulsa People and Tulsa Business and Legal News.

Though she has centered her career on accounting, Jen is still passionate about the arts. As someone who directs, choreographs and produces local shows, the TPAC’s mission of being the catalyst to give local talent a platform to grow is near to her heart and something she takes great pride in being a part of. It's important to Jen that performing arts thrive in Tulsa not only personally but as a benefit to the character of the community.


JEFF NEWSOME (Email)
Director of Ticketing Services

Jeff began working at the TPAC as a ticket office cashier in 2008 and became ticket office manager in 2014. He now oversees operations for the entire ticketing office.

An artist and talented musician himself, Jeff believes the TPAC was built as a place to come to be inspired. Whether that inspiration comes from seeing the depth of local talent that comes through the doors or seeing something you never thought you might see in Tulsa, it is part of what drives him in his position here. The other thing that drives him is helping our patrons and making sure everyone has an enjoyable experience once inside our doors.

BRYAN CLEMONS (Email)
VP of Operations

Bryan came to the Tulsa PAC in September of 2010 following a 32-year career in the United States Coast Guard, where he served in several key leadership, management and engineering positions. His experience with large and complex systems and attention to detail make him perfect for his current position.

With a love for systems and ensuring everything is exactly where it needs to be at all times, Bryan ensures that he and his team have every detail in place for every show to give his team and patrons have the best experience possible.


SCOTT McLARTY (Email)
Technical Director

Scott is a homegrown technician who has been tailoring his craft at the TPAC since 2005. Since completing his education at the University of Oklahoma, it has been his dream to become the technical director of a high-level, multi-event theatre complex like the TPAC, which he accomplished in 2014.

For Scott, every production brings a new set of challenges and expectations, which he thrives in. But helping his team bring art to as diverse an audience as possible, bringing together communities around arts and entertainment, is also a highlight of the job for him.


Jeremy Stevens (Email)
Director of Community Engagement
Originally from Springdale, Arkansas, Jeremy earned degrees in music and theatre arts at Arkansas Tech University. A choral arts teacher for 10 years at Union Public Schools and Broken Arrow Public Schools, his 2016 eighth-grade choir was selected to perform as an Oklahoma Music Educators Association honor group at Holy Family Cathedral. After joining the TPAC, Jeremy helped to create The Orbit Initiative, a free community engagement program that offers free community arts programming and instruction in underrepresented communities and community centers across Tulsa.

Working for the TPAC has given Jeremy the artistic freedom to pursue programing and engagement activities that promote equity and inclusivity within the arts community. His job, in his eyes, is to look outside of TPAC, discovering what has failed parts of our community in the past, identifying the obstacles and clear them out of the way — ensuring all in our community have access to the arts.

Staff Members

Danielle Williams

Business and Finance Coordinator

Raised in the world of performing arts, Danielle truly cannot imagine working in any other field, as she has been a part of arts and entertainment her entire life. She began dancing at age four and earned her degree at Oklahoma City University, a highly competitive program and one that is extremely difficult to get into. Her professional career started at the City of Tulsa, and she began working for the TPAC in 2010.


Randy Milligan

Technical Staff

Randy joined the team part time in 1988, working with Theatre Tulsa and other local groups backstage. In 1991, he joined IATSE and started working the bigger shows in the Chapman. He has also toured with the Ice Capades, traveling as far as Southeast Asia. In 2019, he started working for TPAC full time. He has been involved in the arts since high school and still loves helping to make magic happen. It is also important to him to help local groups put on the best performances possible.

Lexi Sugiyama

Digital and Graphics Specialist

A graduate of the Oral Roberts University graphic design program, Lexi has been translating ideas into meaningful design for many years. Her professional career started as a graphic designer at a Tulsa design agency, and she quickly moved into a marketing director position for a local staffing agency. The performing arts are very close to her heart and helping to make the arts more accessible to all is something she is proud to support with her visual skills.


Kevin Owens

Technical Staff Coordinator

A skilled technical theatre professional, Kevin has over 25 years of experience teaching, designing and constructing professional and student theatre productions. He attended the Kansas City Art institute with an emphasis on sculpture and comparative mythology. Kevin enjoys the arts and has always been immersed in the joys of creative expression, partially because it feeds both the right and left sides of his brain.

Zach Wheeler

Ticket Office Manager

Tulsa native Zach earned his associate degree from Tulsa Community College and joined the TPAC team in 2009. A fan of the energy in the air on show nights, he also loves being a part of something that works to bring people together in a world that seems to be constantly trying to pull everyone apart.


Steven Smalley

Technical Staff

Steven is from Georgia and has always had an interest in playing music and the technology involved in live performances. He moved here to study music technology and has been working in the live audio field ever since. He has had the pleasure to do audio for many national acts as well as every major performance venue in Tulsa and joined the TPAC in the fall of 2019. Taking pride in both his place of work and his community, Steven enjoys helping the TPAC be a beacon of artistic excellence.
